So what exactly is Chicken Soup for the Soul? In overview terms, it is where members of the community bring something to share which has stirred them. Not literal soup, but metaphorial. It doesn't have to be overly religious - and generally isn't - but a poem, a piece of music, a picture, a book. Anything which has recently spoken to you.
This is where we can get to know each other better, sharing a little more deeply in people's lives. The weird thing is that every time we do it, a common thread seems to emerge. Is this just coincidence? Or is it, somehow, God speaking?
We're all in this together and we can all help each other along on the journey, and that's what we try to be about at Cafechurch.
